It could have been worse…Fredbot could have flown in, lasers blazing…I might even add a running gag that whenever Fredbot sneezes, he discharges his laser…but do robots sneeze?
WOW. The first panel is EXCELLENT! Sorry I don’t comment as often as I used to.. I still read in RSS. THIS one I needed to stop by and say WOW! the perspective and wooden floors are terrific.
Thanks Dawn! 😀 Was fun to draw, and I think it is one of the first inks that I didn’t rely heavily on using PS tools to make straight lines. The only time I did was for the lines on the floor, otherwise, it is all done by hand. Trying to beef up my tablet skills and am happy with the results of my “behind Fredbot” perspective (although a bit of it is fudged, and the original pencils were wider giving more of the curving fisheye lens look on the right that you see still on the left). I do think though I could have continued with the shadows to reinforce the light coming from the kitchen door and dining room windows (up the staircase, the back of Fredbot, etc.), but all in all, I think the grand experiment came off pretty well, too.
ditto on the comments for your site, too…I keep up with my daily reading and you’re one of the stops I make…just big on the commenting…lol

Isn’t that the way? barely have the new mobility system a day and now it’s already dented.

Despite hating spiders, I love Fredbot.
