Just mentally worn out, atm. Recent developments with my cancer has got me beat. A bone biopsy (don’t recommend it) came back negative for a suspicious spot on the hip, but the PET scan was read from last month said my prostate cancer had spread to the bone. The oncologist I had was covered on my health insurance, but any treatment would be considered out of network, so I’m waiting to hear from the urologist who wanted to put me on another more intense hormone suppression therapy on top of the current one I’m on as well as find another oncologist. The specialty pharmacy I get my one hormone suppression therapy from (and will have to get the other if the urologist ever gets around to prescribing it) has so many hoops to jump through just to get it filled, it drives me bonkers. So, if it’s spread to the bone, I’m told it’s incurable, but treatable. Fun, huh? Needless to say, I’m not sleeping well, and mentally beat, which doesn’t lead well to writing scripts, or producing comics. On top of that, my arthritic knees (which need to be replaced but if I start treatment for bone cancer is out of the question) have been acting up, which makes walking fun. I’m in mental limbo, I guess you could say.
Sorry for just disappearing without a post explaining why. I know that’s not how I do things & generally babble about what I’m going through (much like this reply…lol).I’ve tried to pick up the pencil to write, & I do have some vague idea of what I want to write to continue the storyline, but it’s just not coming to me. Thanks for reaching out, though. I’ll be back.
I was afraid that something about your cancer might have gone wrong. Thanks for letting us know. We do care about you, you know. Now, you concentrate on getting those hoops lined up so you can just make one jump to get through them. Bob and Max will be fine until you can get back to them.
All well? .. havent seen any new ones this whole week .. thats so not like you

What Fontlady said! You do what you have to to take care of yourself. We can wait while you recover.
Hope you get well soon, but take all the time you need. We will be here when you come back.
Greetings from Germany
